As water temperatures rise and daylight extends, paddlers across the country are preparing for the 2026 season. Here is your spring checklist.
Inspect Your Board: Check for cracks, punctures, or UV damage. Pay special attention to seam areas on inflatable boards. afarer drop-stitch boards should be inspected at the valve connection and rail edges.
Check Your Pump: Ensure the pressure gauge reads accurately. Lubricate the O-ring on your pump barrel with silicone grease. Test both the inflation and deflation functions on dual-action pumps.
