A US brand required an entirely new SUP mould with a 14' touring shape, integrated fishfinder mount channels, reinforced standing platform, and a weight capacity of 400 lbs — designed for the fishing SUP market.
Soluție
Engineered a new 14' drop-stitch mould with reinforced drop-stitch core density, embedded accessory rail inserts, and military-grade PVC bottom layer for abrasion resistance. Produced 3 prototype iterations before tooling finalisation.
The Result
New mould tooled in 14 weeks. 3,500 units produced in first production run. Product named "Best Fishing SUP 2025" by Outdoor Gear Lab.
